The Highland Immersion
12 – 18 September 2026|Ella, Sri Lanka
The Intention
This immersion is designed as a profound departure from everyday velocity. By situating ourselves in an environment that dictates its own rhythm, we create the conditions for deep physiological and psychological rest.
Our days are structured yet spacious, offering guided practices that are in direct dialogue with the surrounding architecture and landscape. We will explore movement, breathwork, and periods of mandatory silence, leaning entirely into the cadence of the natural world around us.
The Rhythm
Settle into the landscape. We begin with a grounding welcome circle as the sun sets, followed by a slow, locally sourced dinner. Time is intentionally unhurried.
Morning breathwork on the open-air pavilions. The afternoon is dedicated to understanding how the built environment shapes our internal state, with a guided walk through the property.
A full day of mandatory silence. We remove the pressure of communication to allow the nervous system to fully decompress. Meals are taken collectively, yet quietly.
Guided movement practice followed by a mindful hike through the surrounding old-growth forests. We return for afternoon restorative practices and Ayurvedic treatments.
Closing circle and integration practices. A long communal breakfast before we depart, carrying the stillness with us back into the velocity of our daily lives.
